A comic book series for Batman: AC

Batman Arkham Asylum was one of the most successful video games of 2009 and entered the Guinness World Records as the “Most Critical” Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever. ” This May discover what happened between the events narrated in Batman: Arkham Asylum and the expected Batman: Arkham City thanks to a comic book miniseries long six numbers entitled BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY.

Written by the author of Batman: The Animated Series, Paul Dini (who is also the history of both games above) and designed by concept artist of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City Carlos D’anda, BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY starts a year after the events narrated in the first chapter of the game when the first Director of Arkham, Quincy Sharp, once elected Mayor of Gotham City, decides to close the notorious insane asylum. Instead constructs Arkam City, the new “safe house” for all the crazy gangsters and criminals of Gotham City. Surrounded by fortified walls and placed in the very heart of Gotham City, criminals can go where they want, provided they are not attempting to escape. To drive this new type of urban Sharp prison has appointed Dr. Hugo Strange, a man who knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Each issue of this miniseries will be available in digital format at a price of $ 2.99 cad.
These nyumeri will be interspersed with interludes digital 8 pages that expand further the story.
The focus will be on the many enemies of Batman and each of these interludes will cost 99 cents and everyone will be included in the printed volume collectors BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY.

“The first digital stories offer a unique opportunity for fans and exciting disperimentare interesting stories that go beyond what is narrated in the cartoon printed,” said Jim Lee, DC Comics Co-Publisher. “Additional pages will serve as an interlude between regular series numbers and will not be required to follow the main story. Fans can also read these interludes on paper when we print the Edition for collectors. ”
